Spring Term 1 2013-14

Year 3 have recently been making papier-mache Volcanoes. Lava to be added later!

Year 4 enjoyed a visit from Mrs O'Reilly (no relation!), and they took part in her Electricity Workshop.

Year 5 went on a day trip to Jodrell Bank where they continued learning about space and the planets..

In assembly, dancers from a local dance group came in to show the whole school how to bust some moves!

Some of our displays from around school this half term, where the focus is on Literacy.

A massive well done to everyone in Year 4, who spent all afternoon and evening rehearsing then performing at the Phones4U Arena, Manchester, as part of Young Voices. Along with Miss Meehan and Mrs Sullivan, aswell as thousands of other children, Year 4 thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Continuing their Space work, Year 5 simulated planetary orbits in the playground.

Craft Club have been working hard!

As part of Safer Internet Day 2014, there have been plenty of activities going on around school; from designing Mousemats and Safer Internet Posters to making E-Safety Chatterboxes.

As promised, Year 3 added lava to their volcanoes, much to Miss Sims' amusement!

Year 4 finished off the half-term nicely with their Tudors Assembly
