Summer Term 1 2013-14

All the children today enjoyed a Karate demonstration with Ippon Karate Academy.


Year 4 visited the Lowry Theatre, Salford Quays where they watched 'Terrible Tudors'.


Good luck to our swimming team, who will take part in the Worsley Swimming Gala.

We had a visit from author Tom Palmer, who writes books aimed at boys. Tom played a reading game with children, culminating in a penalty shootout! Well done to the 3 trophy winners!


Year 3 took a trip to Tesco to find out where our food comes from and to taste some fruits, as part of the "from Farm to Fork" programme. They enjoyed doing a 'big shop' and scanning their items at the till.


As part of their Topic work, Year 1 have produced and buried a Time Capsule like Samuel Pepys.


Year 1's assembly, all about London and the Great Fire, was a great success!


Wig Wednesday, in aid of Clic Sargent, saw lots of participation. We raised over £150!


For Arts Week, children have been doing various activities including making African Masks, African Dance and Origami


Year 1 enjoyed a visit to the TEN Centre, where they experienced all kinds of programmable toys.
