Spring 1 2015-16

EYFS teamed up to celebrate Chinese New Year with their own version of the Dragon Dance.

Reception children celebrated the end of their Cinderella Learning Challenge topic by dressing up as Princes and Princesses for the day.

Gung Hoi Fat Choi! Year 3 took a train into town and visited John Rylands Library to celebrate Chinese New Year - the Year of the Monkey!

Our 'Organise' group had a great morning at Manchester Cathedral celebrating their entry in the 'Paint a Pipe' competition. Big thanks to Mr. Millington for all his help and hard work too!

In Year 1, the children have been investigating capacity using water.

Reception children discovered a bag of shoes! They investigated their properties and discussed to whom they might belong.

Year 4 sampled Victorian school sports day.

The Organise group have finished their Organ Pipe designs - these will be displayed in the arrivals lounge at T1 Manchester Airport!!

Year 6 had an electrifying afternoon exploring circuits.

Touchstones Rochdale provided Year 5 with an enjoyable Egyptian-themed morning.
