Summer 1 2017-18

Our @beeinthecity bee is finished and ready for display in the city centre. Well done to Mrs Hills and Mrs Blears for leading the project!


Year 1 enjoy various activities on their trip to Tatton Park.


Cooking club made rhubarb crumbles, using school-grown rhubarb.


Art/DT day included landscapes in Year 2 and pretzels in Year 4.


Year 6 post-SATs treat, a trip to the park.


Year 1 donned their Sunday best and headed to St. Paul's Church for Barnaby Bear's Baptism.


Sue the school cook will use these onions and rhubard, grown on the school allotments, in school dinners this week.


Nursery and Reception trip to Knowsley Safari Park.


School Council spruced the place up a bit with a litter pick at the front of school.


Key Stage 2 children took part in Paralympic-style games for Children's Activities Week - sit-down Volleyball and Boccia.


Nursery children enjoyed a session planting potatoes.


Congratulations to our Year 5 football team who came runners up in a tournament.


We took part in a world record attempt yesterday with Sid.


During a session in the gardens, reception children found some Gold Crested Newts.


To finish up some topic work from last half term, Year 3 visited Frankie and Benny's restaurant where they made (and ate!) pizzas.


Children have started work on the Bee in the City bee.


Nursery children celebrated St. George's day in style.


Congratulations to our Tennis superstars, who battled against the wind to finish as runners up in a recent tournament..


Year 2 enjoyed their workshop on Seaside Holidays.


Our Bee in the City community project can begin now we have taken delivery of our bee.


You'd never guess, but spring has sprung! Year 1 planted some broad beans to mark the occasion.
